Music and SFX Pro
What does the Pro license cover?
Music and SFX Pro plans come with a Pro license, designed for professional creators and creators working on commercial or client-based projects. It can be used in the following contexts:
- Commercial use across social media, websites, TV, streaming platforms, podcasts and more
- Client work
- Publishing your video projects on any platform worldwide
- Advertising, paid media, branded content, and film

Music & SFX Teams - converts an individual license into a multi‑seat team account (2–7 users). Ideal for creative teams needing shared access to music, SFX, and more with a multi-seat license.
Music & SFX Teams can upgrade to:
Max Teams - adds footage, templates, plugins, LUTs, Artlist Studio, AI generated voiceover, images, video, and music and our extension for Premiere Pro.
Note: For all upgrades, pricing is prorated, so the upgrade cost is calculated according to the remainder of the subscription. On your next renewal you’ll be charged the standard rate for the plan you upgraded too. Subscription renewal dates will remain the same as your original purchase date, not the upgrade date.

Can I purchase Artlist Music to use as a standalone audio?
The Artlist standard license is a synchronization license. Tracks can only be used within video projects (e.g., a film, ad, presentation). The music can’t be used as a standalone (audio only) without being part of a video (with the exception of podcasts). This includes radio, playlists, background music, telephone on-hold music, etc.
You can’t in any way use, record, perform, present, publicly perform, copy, distribute in any manner, transfer, share, sell or give a license to the music as a standalone.
Can I edit, mix, render or re-master the audio assets?
With an active subscription, you can edit the licensed music, SFX, vocals, AI Voiceover, or other audio from Artlist in any way to fit your video project. The license we offer is a license to use the assets, not to own them. This means that you cannot take credit for the new creation.
