What does the free Trial include?
Artlist’s free Trial includes access to key features that make it easy to explore the platform before subscribing to a plan. With a free Trial account, you can:
- Explore the extensive catalog
- Download unlimited watermarked previews of music and footage
- Generate 3 AI voiceovers
- Generate 2 AI images
- Generate 1 AI video
- Save your favorite assets
- Build and organize Artboards
These tools provide a hands-on way to discover how Artlist’s platform can support the content needs for a wide variety of video projects.
Note: Any assets downloaded using a free Trial account are for preview purposes only and are not licensed for use in any public or published projects. With a free Trial account, it is not possible to preview SFX, templates or plugins.
💡 Pro Tip: Paid subscribers can also download watermarked previews of asset types not included in their current plan.

How to create a free Trial
To create a new account and access the free Trial:
- On the top right of the homepage, select Start Free Now.
- Choose to sign up with:
- Click Free Sign Up
Note: The free Trial does not require payment details and can be accessed at any time.
Artlist’s free Trial has no time limit, and you’ll never be charged unless you choose to subscribe to a paid plan. As such, there’s no downside to keeping your free Trial account active.

Can a license be purchased for an individual asset?
A license can’t be purchased for an individual asset. Artlist’s license is subscription-based, so in order to access and use licensed Artlist assets, an active subscription plan is required. For more information, read here.

Can music and footage be previewed before subscribing?
Music and footage can be previewed before subscribing by downloading watermarked versions during the free Trial. These previews are for testing purposes only and cannot be used in published projects.
Are previews available for SFX, templates, and plugins?
Previews are not available for SFX, templates, and plugins.
Can AI voiceovers, images and videos be generated with a free Trial account?
AI voiceovers, images and videos can be generated with a free Trial account. A free Trial allows 3 AI voiceovers, 2 images, and 1 video to be generated. These files can’t be downloaded or used in projects as Trial generations are intended for testing purposes only.
How do I cancel my free Trial account?
If you have a Trial account, it is completely free indefinitely. There is no need to cancel a free Trial.
I haven’t received a sign up welcome email
If you haven’t received a sign up welcome email, please first check your email’s spam, bulk, and promotion folders. If you’re still not seeing the welcome email, most likely this is due to an issue with your email account or address. Please follow these steps:
- On the top-right of the homepage, select your profile Icon.
- From the account menu, click My Account to view your current email address.
