Keeping your Artlist account information up-to-date ensures you receive accurate billing and renewals, accurate invoices, and uninterrupted access to Artlist assets. This article explains how to sign in, reset your password, update account information, manage your subscription and download your license.
How to sign in
- Go to Artlist.io and click Sign In.
- Choose a sign in method:
- Email and Password.
- Follow the on screen steps to log in with your credentials.
- Click Sign In.

How to reset your password
- On the top of the homepage, click Sign In.
- On the Sign In page, click Forgot password?
- Enter the registered email address.
- Click Reset Password and follow the instructions sent to your email.
Note: You can also update your password from the Profile / Overview section of your Account.
How to update your account name or email address
To update your account name or email address contact us with:
- Your current account name and email
- The new name and/or email
- One of the following:
- Last 4 digits and expiration date of the card on file
- PayPal email address
- Full billing address
How to view your subscription details
The My Account section of your account provides a complete overview of your current plan and license.
- On the top right of the homepage, click the profile icon.

In the account menu, click My Account.
- On the Profile/Overview tab, view My subscription.
What you’ll see:
- The name of your current subscription plan.
- A direct link to Upgrade to a plan with more AI credits (if applicable).
- The start date of your current subscription.
- The number of AI credits remaining in your plan and the date your credits will renew (if applicable).
- Your License Number and the coverage period.
- A link to download your license.
- A link to Add your channels to the Clearlist. (Under your stock catalog profile only)
- A summary of your license details, including the type of license, your coverage information, and which asset types and catalogs are included. (Under your stock catalog profile only)
Note: Some features are only available on specific plans.
How to download your Artlist license
Downloading a copy of your license ensures you have proof of your legal coverage for using Artlist assets.
- On the homepage, click the Profile icon.
- In the account menu, select the Profile / Overview tab.
- On My Profile, view My Subscription.
- Click Download license.

I can't remember my password, how do I change it?
If you can’t remember your password and need to change it, read here.
I forgot my email and am unable to log in. What can I do?
If you’ve forgotten your email or you’re unable to log into your account:
- Refresh your browser window.
- If you signed in using Facebook or Google and are unsure which email address is linked to your account, check the email associated with those platforms to find the address used.
- If you used an email address and password to sign in, review the email address carefully and re-enter it. Be sure to try any other email addresses that may have been used to create the account.

I can’t log in. What should I do?
If you are having trouble logging in, please first try these troubleshooting tips:
- Disable VPNs and Browser Extensions: Turn off any VPN applications, ad blockers, browser extensions, or firewalls that might interfere with website loading. Some users have found that disabling extensions resolved similar issues.
- Clear Browser Cache and Cookies.
- Try connecting with a different network: (For example, your phone’s hotspot)
- Update Browser and Operating System: Ensure that you're using the latest version of your browser and that your operating system is up to date.
- Use Incognito or Private Browsing Mode: Open the website in an incognito or private browsing window to see if the issue persists.
- Try a Different Browser: If the problem continues, try accessing the site using a different browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
- Check Date and Time Settings: Verify that your device's date and time settings are correct. Incorrect settings can sometimes cause security checks to fail.
- Check for Network Restrictions: Ensure that your computer is not managed by an IT department or connected to a network that might be blocking access to our servers. If possible, try connecting to a different network, such as a personal mobile hotspot, to see if the issue persists.
- Restart your device if relevant.

Can I download a past song license or subscription license after my plan has renewed or expired?
Past song licenses and subscription licenses can’t be downloaded after a plan has renewed or expired. To ensure you have appropriate proof of coverage, be sure to download your license while your subscription is still active.
I haven’t received the email to reset my password. What now?
If you haven’t received the email to reset your password, please follow these steps:
- Check your email’s spam/junk folder.
- Add the email address system@artlist.io to your email contacts and reset your password.
- If your email inbox is managed by an IT department, please contact them directly to request that the email system@artlist.io is whitelisted for your email's inbox.
