Image Model
Qwen Image 2.1 Pro is the top tier of Alibaba's Qwen Image 2.1 family. One model handles both text-to-image and editing, with strong typography and good identity preservation.
It sits below Qwen Image 3.0 on dense, multi-panel layouts but is the stronger pick for posters, product shots and editing up to 10 reference images at once.

Limitations
- 2K is the ceiling. There is no 4K option.
- Every edit redraws the whole frame, so grain builds up over chained edits.
- Faces can drift over a long edit chain, and anything the prompt doesn't mention may still change.
- Slow for an image model: about a minute per image.
Prompting Tips
- Put any text that must appear in quotes, spelled exactly.
- Name references by position: "the jacket from the second image on the person in the first".
- Say what to keep as well as what to change, and start each new edit from the original image.
- Use 1K for quick drafts and 2K for the final.
