Video Model
FLUX 3 Max is a post-trained version of FLUX 3, built for sharper detail and tighter prompt adherence than the base model.
Like FLUX 3, every clip comes with audio generated in the same pass, up to 20 seconds per generation, in 720p or 1080p.

Talking Points |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Text-to-Video | Text only | Text → V+A | 1080p | No reference needed. Strongest on one clear event with the sound named in the prompt. |
| Image-to-Video | Animate | Image → V+A | 1080p | Your image becomes the first frame. On Auto, the clip keeps the image’s shape. |
| First / Last Frame | Transition | 2 images → V+A | 1080p | Both ends fixed, the model fills the move between them. |
Key Features
Quality
- Reasoning: High (default) follows the prompt more closely. Low is faster.
- Resolution: 720p (default) or 1080p. Pick 1080p for final output.
Audio

Output Control
- Duration: Any whole second from 5 to 20. Default 10.
- Aspect ratio: Auto, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 2:1 and 21:9.

Details |
|---|---|
| Quality / Resolution | 720p, 1080p |
| Duration | 5–20s, whole seconds |
| Aspect Ratios | Auto, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 2:1, 21:9 |
| Audio | Generated in the same pass; on by default, can be disabled |
| Reasoning | Low, High (default) |
| Input Modalities | Text, start frame, start and end frame |
Limitations
- An end frame on its own is not supported. Add a start frame too.
- With an input image on Auto, output follows the image’s shape, not 16:9.
- 20s is the ceiling per generation. No video input or extend.
Prompting Tips
- Build the shot around one clear event and name the sound you want. Leaving audio implicit produces quiet clips.
- Say what the camera does: slow dolly in, orbit, focus rack.
- Keep Reasoning on High when the prompt has several specific details that all need to land.
- Draft at 720p, then switch to 1080p for the version you keep.
