Overview
This guide walks Gemini Enterprise administrators through connecting the Artlist MCP server to the Gemini Enterprise App in the Google Cloud Console. Once connected, you and your team can generate AI images, videos, voiceovers, and music using the best AI models available, as well as access Artlist's library of stock music and sound effects, all directly within Gemini Enterprise.
Setup takes a few minutes. You then sign in with your own Artlist account, and generations use that account's Artlist AI credits.
Prerequisites
Before you open the Google Cloud Console, make sure you have:
- Administrator access to your Gemini Enterprise App in the Google Cloud Console.
- Artlist accounts with AI credits for you and anyone else who will use the integration.
- Artlist OAuth credentials (Client ID and Client Secret). Request them by filling out this form. Artlist will then send them to you.
Note: Artlist has already allowlisted the Gemini Enterprise redirect URL below on its authorization server. No action is needed on your side:

Configuration steps in Google Cloud Console
- Open the Google Cloud Console. In the top search bar, search for Gemini Enterprise and open it.
- In the left menu, click Data stores, then Create data store.
- Search for Custom MCP Server, then click Add MCP Server.
- Fill in the fields below, in the order they appear in the console.

Enter both scopes, separated by a space. openid identifies you as the Artlist user who signs in. offline_access keeps you connected without signing in again each session. |

- Click Verify Auth. You'll be redirected to Artlist to sign in and authorize the integration.
- Click Continue. On the Advanced options step, leave the fields empty and click Continue again.
- On the Configure your data connector step, name the connector Artlist, then click Create.
- Enable the Artlist tools. All tools are disabled by default. Go to Data stores, open Artlist, open the Actions tab, and enable the tools you need.
⚠️ Important: Until you enable the tools in the Actions tab, you won't be able to use Artlist in Gemini Enterprise.
What you can do once connected
In Gemini Enterprise, you can ask for:
- AI image generation — generate from a prompt, or edit an existing image with references
- AI video generation — generate from a prompt, an image, or video and audio references
- AI voiceover generation — generate speech in a chosen voice and language
- AI music generation — create original music for a video or campaign
- Music & SFX catalog — search and access Artlist's licensed catalog of music tracks and sound effects
- Brand style kits — keep generations consistent with a saved brand style
Results are saved to your Artlist library. Before any generation above a cost threshold, you see the price and must approve it before credits are spent.
Troubleshooting
- The connection test fails: check that the Authorization URL, Token URL, Client ID, and Client Secret match this guide exactly, with no extra spaces.
- You can't generate: make sure you sign in with an Artlist account that has AI credits available.

You're asked to sign in again often: check that both scopes,
openid offline_access, are entered in Field 8.
