Image Model
Ideogram V4.5 is the follow-up to V4 and stays focused on what Ideogram is known for: legible, correctly spelled text inside images.
It's the pick for posters, logos, ads, packaging and other design-led work where the words have to be right. Typography is the reason to choose it over Nano Banana, Seedream or GPT Image.
Key Features
Text Rendering
- Accurate Typography: Renders headlines, signage, labels and logos with correct spelling and clean letterforms.
Image Generation
- Text-to-Image: Generate from a prompt alone.
- Image-to-Image: Add an image reference and describe the change; the source composition is kept and reworked per the prompt.

Limitations
- Built for headlines and short copy; don't rely on it for dense body text.
- Image output only; no video or animation.
Prompting Tips
- Put the exact text you want in quotes: a sign reading "OPEN 24/7".
- Describe where the text sits and how it looks — bold sans-serif headline across the top.
- Iterate on Low or Medium with 4 images, then rerun the winner on High.
- For image-to-image, state what changes and what stays: keep the product and lighting, replace the background.
