Artlist is giving away $250,000 to up to 25 creators for the most creative, most engaging video made using Seedance 2.5. The challenge runs from August 12th to August 26th, 2026.
How to Enter
- Generate your video using Seedance 2.5 — minimum 30 seconds, no upper limit. Creativity is everything.
- Download and add the challenge badge — the challenge badge must be visible and legible for the full duration of your video.
- Post publicly and tag us — share to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn. Tag @Artlist and use the hashtag #ArtlistSeedance25. Your post must stay public until winners are announced. Entries submitted after August 26th won't be considered.
Only one entry per account will be considered.
About Seedance 2.5
Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's next-generation video model. Its headline feature is native 30-second generation in a single pass — no stitching, no seams. You can drop in up to 50 reference inputs (images, video clips, and audio) to direct your video with more control. Audio — dialogue, music, and effects — is co-generated in the same pass as the visuals.

Judging Criteria
Winners are selected on two things:
- Creativity — judged by the Artlist creative team. Surprise us. The winning videos will be the ones nobody saw coming — visually striking, impossible to scroll past.
- Engagement — likes, comments, shares, and saves on your post.
Prizes
- Total prize pool: $250,000 USD
- Up to 25 winners, each receiving up to $10,000
- Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable
- Winners are responsible for any taxes or duties arising from their prize in their jurisdiction
Commonly asked questions
Who can enter?
Anyone aged 18 or over. Artlist employees and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
How long does my video need to be?
A minimum of 30 seconds. There's no maximum length.
What is the challenge badge, and where do I get it?
The challenge badge is the Artlist overlay you add to your video. Download it here. It must be visible for the full duration of your video.
Can I submit more than one entry?
Only one entry per account is permitted and will be considered.
What if my post is taken down or made private before judging?
Your post must stay public until winners are announced. Entries that go private or are removed before then won't be considered.
Do I need an Artlist subscription?
You don't need a subscription to use Seedance 2.5 — but Artlist subscribers get 365 days of unlimited Seedance 2.5 generations, meaning you can iterate as many times as you need without spending credits.
When are winners announced?
After the submission deadline of August 26th. Winners will be contacted directly and announced across Artlist's channels.
