What we’re looking for
Our judges will evaluate every entry on three things:
- Concept originality.
- Strength of storytelling.
- Cinematic quality.
The strongest trailer doesn't need a big budget. It needs a compelling idea, well told. The winner receives $100,000 to produce their project as a full pilot, series, or short film.

Who can join the Artlist Studio Challenge?
The application is open to all Artlist Studio users worldwide above the age of 18.
The application is open to both individuals and teams, but only one application per creator or team is allowed. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

How can I apply for the Artlist Studio Challenge?
First, create a trailer for an original film or series (minimum 30 seconds). Post the video on one of your social media channels: YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok. Tag @artlist.io and use the hashtag #ArtlistStudioChallenge.
Next, fill out the application form on the Artlist Studio Challenge website. You’ll need to provide your full and accurate contact details, a link to the video you posted on your socials, and share a few words about yourself and your concept.
Ten finalists will then be chosen and given 5 million AI credits every month for a year (with a monetary value of ~$28,000). One winner will receive $100,000 in production funding to bring their feature-length vision to life.
How will the Artlist Studio Challenge winner receive their grant?
One winner will receive $100,000 USD in funding to bring their creative dream to life.
The award money will be delivered in installments, based on the progress and needs of the winners’ project.

How will the winner be chosen? When will it be announced?
The entries will be judged on concept originality, storytelling, and overall cinematic quality.
Based on those factors, Artlist will compile a shortlist of up to top 10 applications.
If you’re on that shortlist, you'll be given 5 million AI credits every month for a year (with a monetary value of ~$28,000).
In the event of a high volume of applicants and our commitment to reviewing each application thoroughly, the selection process could take some time.
Creators selected for the shortlist will be notified via email.

If I win, how long will I have to complete my project?
Once you’ve been selected as the big winner and signed the Winner’s Agreement, you will have 4 months to complete your project.

I don’t have an Artlist subscription. Can I still apply?
The Artlist Studio Challenge requires all applicants to create their project using Artlist Studio and will require an Artlist subscription.
How do I know if my entry has been received/viewed?
Once you submit your trailer via the application form on the website, you’ll receive an email confirmation. Our team will go through each application form submitted.
What’s the application deadline?
You must submit your pitch by May 25, 2026, at 11:59 PM EDT.
Any application submitted after this date won’t be eligible.
Can I send more than one application?
No. Only one application per person/team/company will be accepted.
Creators who apply multiple times will be disqualified.
If I win, will I retain ownership of my final project? / Will the winner have exclusive rights to their project after it's finished?
You maintain the rights to your project, but grant Artlist the license to showcase your work. We’re only interested in sharing your work on our social media, marketing materials, and celebrating your creativity with our community. You can see the full breakdown in the terms and conditions.
