You can also upload reference images to guide the character’s look.
Using reference images
Reference images allow you to guide the AI when creating a character, helping it match your vision more accurately. You can use images for inspiration or as exact references to maintain consistency with existing designs.
When adding images, you can choose how the model should interpret them:
- Inspiration – the AI references the style and appearance.
- Match exactly – the AI closely recreates the uploaded image.
Using Reference Images: Inspiration vs. Exact Match
When adding images, you can select how the AI should interpret them:
-
Use as Inspiration
The AI will take cues from the image’s style, colors, or features while allowing flexibility in the final result.
Best for: Creating a new character influenced by an existing design without copying it exactly.
-
Match Exactly
The AI will try to recreate the image as closely as possible, including proportions, clothing, and facial features.
Best for: Reproducing a specific character or reference you want to match precisely.
You can add images from:
- Upload history
- Studio creations
- Toolkit creations
- Files from your computer
To use an image from your library:
- Select the image.
- Click Use file.
Combining reference images with prompts
Reference images work best when paired with a detailed prompt. In the Prompt Field, describe:
- Appearance (hair, skin tone, facial features)
- Outfit or clothing style
- Personality or mood
- Environment or context
Example Prompt with Image:
Young adventurer with short brown hair and a leather jacket, standing in a forest, energetic and confident.
The uploaded image can guide the AI’s interpretation of these details.
💡Pro Tip: Continue to click Auto-prompt or edit manually until you see your ideal prompt. Click the back button to revert to the previous prompt.

Why Character Angles Matter
Character angles help maintain visual consistency across frames when directing scenes. Character angles generate multiple views of your character. These views allow the system to better understand your character’s appearance from different perspectives.
Character Angles
Frontal Close-Up – A close-up view of the character’s face from the front. This helps define key facial features such as eyes, expressions, and proportions.
¾ (Three-Quarter) View – Left – The character turned slightly left, showing both the front and side of the face.
Full-Length Back Body – A full-body view of the character from behind. This helps define details such as hairstyle, clothing from the back, and body silhouette.
Full-Length Side Profile – A side view of the character’s face and shoulder, helping the system understand facial structure and body shape from a profile perspective.
These angles act as a reference set for your character, helping ensure that the character remains recognizable when generated in different poses, camera angles, and scenes.
