How to explore voiceover styles and models
Artlist Toolkit can help you get inspired by AI-generated voiceovers, showcasing the kinds of visuals you can create with a specific voice. Browsing examples is a quick way to understand which voice style best fits your creative goals.
- From the top icon panel, click AI Toolkit and the corresponding voiceover icon. This will open the toolkit.
The toolkit will open on the explore page. Play any video to hear the selected voice incorporated into a video project. Choosing the right voice model ensures your narration or dialogue fits the tone and personality of your content.
From the inspiration page you can also clone a voice or explore all the voice styles available.
How to generate a Voiceover from the catalog
- From the top panel on the Homepage, click AI Toolkit and the corresponding icon for voiceover.

Open the Voice Catalog from the Explore All Voices frame.

Within the Voice Catalog select either Artlist Voices or Custom Voices (cloned voices).

- Click Select to apply the voice.
- In the prompt area type or paste your prompt.
- In the prompt area, select your AI model.
- Customize your setting options (varies by the chosen model):

- Stability: Control how expressive or stable the voice sounds. Lower stability makes the voice more expressive and less consistent across generations.
Note: Unsupported languages (but available in other AI Models) appear disabled with a switch icon. Clicking the Switch icon will change the model to one that supports the selected language.
Note: The text field supports 5000 characters for all models.
How to create a custom voice
Voice cloning allows you to create a custom AI-generated voice in the Voice catalog. With this feature, generate voiceovers in your voice or a cloned voice of your choice, saving time while keeping a professional and personalized sound.
- From the top panel on the Homepage, click AI Toolkit and the corresponding icon for voiceover.
- From the Catalog, click Create Custom Voice
- Upload a file. Either select a file from your device or drag and drop one in.
- Name your voice.
- Add a description and more details (optional).
- Click Create Voice. The number of credits used will be visible when you hover over the button.
💡Pro Tip: Toggle remove background noise to make your voice as clear as possible.
💡Pro Tip: To get the best results, recorded audio should follow these guidelines:
- Format: The format of your recorded file should be sent as mp3 or WAV
- File size: The maximum file upload size is 20MB.
- File length: The minimum file length is 10 seconds. The maximum file length is 5 minutes.
Note: All users must confirm they have the necessary permission to use the uploaded voice via the check box.
Note: Deleting a cloned voice does not delete the voiceovers generated with it. These remain accessible in history, but can't be used for future generations.
