Artlist’s templates are ready-made animations and graphics designed to level up your videos with ease from titles and transitions to full-on intros. To customize them, you’ll need the right editing software, since templates can’t be edited directly on our website. This article will explain, what software is compatible with what templates and explain how to use the templates in each software.
Compatible software
- After Effects templates - the latest Adobe After Effects software
- Premiere Pro templates - Premiere Pro CC
- Final Cut Pro templates - Final Cut Pro 10.4 or newer
- DaVinci Resolve templates - DaVinci Resolve 18 or newer

How to use Davinci Resolve templates
Get started using DaVinci Resolve templates with our easy-to-follow steps!
After unzipping the downloaded template folder, inside you'll find:
Tutorial - We made a video tutorial specific to this template project to make it easier for you to get started. The tutorial is located in the Help folder inside the downloaded package.
Fonts - Make sure to go to the Fonts doc inside the Fonts folder, and install the needed fonts.
The template project is located inside the DaVinci Resolve folder. You’ll need to restore the .dra file from the project archive using the DaVinci Resolve Project Manager.
Here’s how to do it:
- Open DaVinci Resolve.
- At the Project Manager (the screen you see when Resolve first opens), right-click in an empty space.
- Choose "Restore Project Archive…" from the menu.
- Find and select the .dra folder you downloaded.
- Click Open, and DaVinci will import the full project.
Once it’s restored, the project will appear in your Project Manager. You can double-click to open and start editing.
