How to select a voice
- From the home page, click AI Voiceover on the left sidebar.
- Below the text input box, scroll down to see the Voice Catalog.
- To filter voices by Gender, click Gender and select male or female.
- To filter voices by Video Category, click Video Category and select Health & Wellness, Commercials, Social, Explainers, Tutorials, Trailers, Characters or Documentaries.
- Click on any voice to hear a preview.
- From the top right corner of the voice, click Select to apply the voice and return to the text box.
Pro tip: Discover the assets featured in each voice preview by clicking the Featured assets icon in the bottom right corner of the voice.
How to create an AI Voiceover
Once you have selected the voice you want to use, you can adjust your settings and generate your voiceover by following these steps:
- From the language dropdown above the text box, select your language.
- In the text box, type the text you want to generate into a voiceover.
- Click Accent for generations in English and choose from American, Australian, British, and Indian accents.
- Click Speed to choose from a range of 0.8x to 1.2x speed.
- Click Emotion and toggle on any emotion from Angry, Sad, Optimistic, Curious, and Surprised.
- Click Generate to create the voiceover.
Please note: You can type up to 2000 characters for each voiceover generation.
How to use voice-to-voice
Got a voice recording you love but want to give it a pro-level makeover? Follow these steps to turn your voice recording into a voiceover:
- From the left side bar of the home page, click AI Voiceover.
- Below the text input box, scroll down to see the Voice Catalog.
- From the top right corner of the voice, click Select to apply the voice and return to the text box.
- Click the Voice-to-Voice tab.
- Upload your own audio file - drag and drop or select the file from your computer.
- Play your recording.
- Click Generate to create your voiceover.
- View and download your newly created voiceover in the My Voiceovers section.
Pro tip: Recorded audio should follow these guidelines:
- Format: The format of your recorded file should be sent as mp3, WAV or OGG.
- File size: The maximum file upload size is 30MB.
- File length: The maximum file length is 5 minutes

- Use sentences of short phrases.

- Match the language setting to the text.
- Ensure correct spelling.
- Use phonetic spelling for tricky words, names, or trademarks.
- Write acronyms as spoken: U → “you”, X → “ex”, A → “ae”,I → “eye”

Emphasis
- Use punctuation to shape tone.
- Use two question marks ?? for questions.
- Avoid quotation marks for emphasis (only use them for actual quotes).

- Use commas , or dashes - for short pauses.
- For longer pauses, insert: <break time="1s" />.
- Avoid repeating punctuation (e.g., ,, or --).

- Break up long numbers with commas or dashes.
- For dates, use: 01/26/2025 or January 26th, 2025.
